Listed below are the minimum system requirements that are needed to run your PowerTerm software to its full potential.

PowerTerm WebConnect
PowerTerm WebConnect (Windows Server):
- Windows 2000 sp4 and 2003.
- 150 MB of free Hard-Disk space for the PowerTerm WebConnect Server, and
- 256 KB of RAM for each active session
The amount of memory may increase when:
- A Java client is used (up to a total of 800K per Java client session).
- An additional 32 KB RAM or more for sessions that work in gateway mode.
- Reconnect mode is enabled and a session is waiting for reconnect - the connection data is cached in RAM until the session reconnects or expires.
PowerTerm WebConnect (Linux Server):
- x86 or IBM POWER compatible processor
- 256 KB of RAM for each active session
- Tested on:

Administration Tool:
HostView Client for PowerTerm WebConnect Windows:

*PowerTerm WebConnect HostView RTL edition is not compatible with Windows 2003.

- Netscape Communicator v. 4.xx, enabled by Java Virtual Machine version 1.4.2 and higher from Netscape Communications Corporation.
- Netscape 6.x, 7.x, enabled by Sun Microsystems Java 2 Platform Standard Edition version 1.3 and higher.
- Mozilla v. 1.x, enabled by Sun Microsystems Java 2 Platform Standard Edition version 1.3 and higher.
Linux client that are launched via the browser require:
- Only KDE and GNOME desktops are supported
- Netscape 6.x, 7.x
- Mozilla v. 1.x
Java Client:
Supports the most advanced versions of Java SDK
- Java 2 Platform Standard Edition version 1.4.x and higher
- Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher (enabled by Sun Microsystems Java 2 Platform Standard Edition version 1.4 and higher).
- Netscape 6.x, 7.x (enabled by Sun Microsystems Java 2 Platform Standard Edition version 1.4 and higher).
- Java WebStart (enabled by Sun Microsystems Java 2 Platform Standard Edition version 1.4 and higher).
- Mozilla version 1.x (enabled by Sun Microsystems Java 2 Platform Standard Edition v. 1.2 and higher).
