Ericom Software Signs Distribution Deal with EMJ America
Jerusalem, Israel, April 22, 1999 -- Ericom® Software, a leading developer of enterprise-wide corporate connectivity software solutions, today
announced its partnership with EMJ America Inc. a distributor of
internetworking and Internet-related computer hardware and software
products in North America. The partnership provides EMJ with full
distribution rights over Ericom's popular PowerTerm® line of terminal
emulators, including the PowerTerm Pro for Windows 2000, PowerTerm CE
for Windows CE, and PowerTerm Interconnect.
The deal comes as part of Ericom's expanded focus on the U.S. market,
following the opening of an office in Hackensack, New Jersey last year.
Ericom products provide desktop and remote access to mission-critical
legacy applications residing on centralized host systems, with 2 million
installations in more than 45 countries worldwide. Under the
agreement, EMJ becomes the latest company to join Ericom's expanding
U.S.-based network of VARS, resellers and distributors.
