Known problems that our dedicated team of developers are working on:

In order to gain more space (or if some of the text lines don't appear correctly) on the IBM emulation screen, we recommend the following procedure: From the Windows CE Start Menu, select Settings|Taskbar. The Taskbar Properties dialog appears. Select Auto hide from the Taskbar Options Property Page. Click OK. It is also possible to hide the Function Buttons and Status bars whenever not in use.

For HP/C with small screens only:
*When modifying the fonts size, the number of lines per screen is not recalculated instantly. Workaround: After changing the font size, save Terminal settings. Exit PowerTerm CE and reenter. New font settings will be applied.

*For IBM Terminal emulation types (3270 and 5250), there is no support for scalable fonts.

The smallest readable font has been set as the default. In order to view the entire emulation screen, we suggest that you:

  1. From the Options Menu, select Hide Buttons.
  2. From the Options Menu, select Hide Menu.
  3. From the Options Menu, select Hide Status Bar.
  4. From the Windows CE Start Menu, select Settings|Taskbar. The Taskbar Properties dialog appears. Select Auto hide from the Taskbar Options Property Page.

Click OK. (It is also recommended to select the Auto hide option while working with other emulation types).

*As a result of selecting Show Buttons, Show Status bar or Hide Menu options the user may encounter screen refresh problems. Workaround:Resize the font.
