PowerTerm Interconnect is open, and I cannot see the terminal session, but the windows desktop behind it?

This is sometimes caused by an incompatibility with the default PowerTerm font and your system.  to resolve this do the following:

* from the menu bar at the top of the PowerTerm window choose Terminal -> system fonts.
* from the dialog choose either "courior" or "courior new" and press "OK"
* from the menu bar at the top of the PowerTerm window choose File -> Save Terminal Setup

After that you should be able to see the terminal window again.

Hello, don't know if this is the right section.  But I keep getting this error while installing this on Linux Lite which is based off Ubuntu 12.04:

I'm trying to install the trial edition of powerterm using Linux Lite which is based off Ubuntu 12.04. I keeping getting this Java error but I have installed all the necessary Java applications:

java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /tmp/install.dir.4304/Linux/resource/jre/lib/i386/libawt.so: libXp.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Any help would be appreciated.

T1125p,

Try installing the libXp libraries.  You can do this by typing "sudo apt-get install libXp" in a terminal window.

If you need further assistance please create a new thread under terminal emulation so that we do not confuse issues.
