Changing the number of lines in a display window via program control.

Hi,

I would like to be able to control the number of lines in a
display window via program control.  I can change the number of columns
from 132 to 80 and vice versa via a VT220 Escape command (ESC [ ? 3 h) but I
can find no command to change the number of lines per screen. This can be done
via the ‘Terminal>setup’ drop down menu, ‘Display’ tab and ‘Lines Per
Screen’ box. I want to do exactly the same thing but by program control i.e.
sending some control or escape sequence.  I have looked in the WebConnect
scripting documentation but can find nothing there either.

Hello Andy,

Thank you for opening this thread.
I believe that you could achieve this by issuing the escape sequence (\x1b\[36t).
Please note that this sequence should be used with the psl scripting command (display) that runs it.
36 in this case is the number of rows.

Hope this answers your question.

Kind regards,
Cristian
