Cannot login to App Portal - Failed to create WebConnect object

I get this error when trying to login to App Portal after installing WebConnect:

Failed to create WebConnect object. On x64 web server verify that support for 32-bit DLLs is enabled.

What can I try?

Here are several possibilities:

A. Using 64bit server without enabling 32bit applications on the IIS.

B. Missing DLL file\s in WebConnect`s ComPortal folder (Please make sure that both of the following files are located in the ComPortal folder: ComPortal.dll,openssl.dll ).
C. Permissions issue

To solve A: enable 32-bit applications in the relevant Application Pool that the Ericom pages are using.
To solve B: go to ..\Ericom Software\WebConnect 5.8\ComPortal and run FixComPortal64.bat and FixComPortal32.bat
To solve C: go to the ComPortal folder's Properties and assign the Internet User full access to the folder.

If none of these options work, please contact your local Ericom support team.
