Win 2012 RDP farm best practice

Hello all,

When creating a new Windows 2012 R2 RDS farm in combination with Ericom Connect, what would be the best method to go? Is this the Windows RDS installer which also installs the connection broker and web access, i think i need to because of the licensing server en config or is there another way? I believe that in order to work correctly with roaming profiles the new feature of user profile disks is the way to go when using multiple RDS Session hosts but on the other hand the whole session broker part is not necessary since Connect handles that. I was not able to find a good desription regarding this in the Connect documentation.

Could anyone here point me in to the right direction regarding this?

Thank you very much.

It should not be a problem to install Connect within an existing RDS farm. We have had customers that this setup and there were no issues reported. And yes, you can use user profile disks without any issues.
If you need further instructions or have other issues, please contact us at ca [at]

Kind regards,
