AccessNow Licences not being checked back in.

Hi,

Since 7.3 we have had an issue where AccessNow licences are not always checked back in when a user logs off. Also the number of sessions reported builds up over the day and often is totally different to the actual number of users logged in. The other day it reported 53 sessions and I was the only users logged on!

Only been an issues since 7.3. My work around has been to run a script as a scheduled task to reset the access service and the licensing service. This resets the count back to 0.

Support says wait for the next release. So I'm guessing its a known issue. I rebuilt our server from scratch hoping it was something else - but the new 2012R2 build experiences the same issue. Anyone here have any thoughts?

Thanks,

Roger

Hi Christian,

I got the 7.5.1 beta build from support and it seems to be working well again. The issue does seem to be fixed.

OK - so spoke to soon. Logged onto the server at the end of the day via a standard rdp connection and 1 licence was being used - no one else was logged in. So its not quite fixed - better - but not there yet.
