At Ericom Software, we are committed to protecting your privacy. However, we may ask you to provide us with information that personally identifies you ("Personal Information"). Collecting Your Personal Information

We will ask you when we need Personal Information. For example, we may request Personal Information when you download evaluation software, email us, request an Activation Key or ask us to forward product information to you.

Use of Your Personal Information

We use your Personal Information for four primary purposes:
  • To make the site easier for you to use by not making you enter your Personal Information more than once.
  • To allow you to purchase and/or download products.
  • To gather broad demographic information about user trends and visitors to our website.
  • To enable Ericom Software its resellers and distributors to alert you to product upgrades, special offers, updated information and other new services from Ericom.
We may occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, including packaging, mailing and delivering purchases, answering customer questions about products or services and sending postal mail. We will only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

Control of Your Personal Information

When you register, or otherwise give us Personal Information, Ericom Software will not share the Personal Information with third parties without your permission, other than for the limited exceptions already listed. It will only be used for the purposes as stated above.

Ericom Software may request selected third parties to send you information about their products or services. When you provide Ericom Software with your Personal Information, you will be able to decline to receive correspondence from Ericom or such third parties.

If you choose not to provide Personal Information, you may still use our web sites anonymously. Only the domain name from which you access the Internet, the Internet address and the date and time you access our web sites are logged. Ericom Software uses this information to analyze trends and to measure the number of visitors to our sites.

Online Purchases

When you submit an order on-line, your credit card number is submitted to the credit institution for routine processing. Ericom Software does not collect your personal credit history information and does not share credit or credit card information.

Access to Your Personal Information

You may request to review and update your Personal Information at any time by contacting Ericom Software at marketing@ericom.com and request to see the Personal Information details Ericom Software has collected. Note, that all Personal Information that Ericom holds has been given to Ericom Software by you. Ericom has not collected Personal Information about you from any other source.

Security of Your Personal Information

Ericom Software strictly protects the security of your Personal Information and honors your choices for its intended use. We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration or destruction.

Your Personal Information is never shared outside Ericom Software without your permission, except under conditions explained above. Inside Ericom Software, data is stored in password controlled servers with limited access. Your information shall be stored and processed in the United States or any other country where Ericom, its subsidiaries, affiliates or agents or located.

You also have a significant role in protecting your information. No one else can see or edit your Personal Information without knowing your password, so do not share these with others.

Ericom Software 's websites may include links to the web sites of others. However, Ericom Software is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these linked sites.

Use of Cookies

Ericom Software's Web site uses "Cookies". A cookie is a small data file that Web sites often store on your computer's hard drive when you visit their sites. A cookie may contain information (such as a unique user ID), that is used to track the pages of the sites you've visited. Note that a Cookie does not contain any Personal Information. Ericom Software will use this tracked information to analyze trends, to measure the number of visitors to our sites and to help make Ericom's Website easier to use and navigate.You can set your browser to refuse cookies, but if you do, you might not be able to take full advantage of our site.
