Closter, NJ (January 7, 2002) - Ericom® Software, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise connectivity and e-Business solutions, today announced a major expansion of its business model designed to drive sales growth through strategic relationships with leading systems integrators (SIs), independent software vendors (ISVs) and OEMs. The expanded alliance initiative is aimed at capitalizing on the market demand from Ericom customers and partners for its enterprise application integration solutions. Research analyst IDC forecasts the enterprise application integration (EAI) market will grow over 30% annually, reaching nearly $21 billion in 2005.

Ericom is investing in its enhanced partner initiatives by growing its partner-dedicated staff and increasing market development funds. This investment will go toward expanding selected partner and channel relationships by adding more joint marketing, training, education and support offerings to help partners implement and extend the company's application integration solutions. Ericom is ramping up to train and support third-party professionals over the next 12 months from the SI, ISV, OEM, and ASP communities.
