Latin America Channel Sales

This individual is responsible for developing and implementing reseller recruitment strategy, as well as achieving sales, profitability and partner recruitment objectives, while also establishing, maintaining and expanding relationships with assigned channel partners.

This individual represents the entire range of Ericom products and services to assigned partners, yet may need to concentrate on specific solutions or products in vertically-focused partner market segments.

This position will report to the Head of US Sales.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively recruits new qualifying partners (regional and national resellers and distributors)
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel within the partner accounts
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, marketing, sales and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and expectations
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis
  • Sells through partner organizations to end-users, in coordination with partner sales resources
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other sales channels by fostering excellent communications internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel
  • Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners
  • Closely coordinates company executive involvement with partner and end-user customer management as appropriate
  • Works closely with technical support to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution
  • Completes required training and development objectives within assigned time frames
  • Maintains high partner satisfaction ratings that meet company standards

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of channel sales experience
  • Four year degree from an accredited institution
  • PC proficient (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Results driven; strategic thinker with excellent problem solving skills
  • Familiar with sales concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and daily work requirements; must be able to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to travel (1-2 times per month to Latin America)
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills
  • Native Spanish speaker (verbal/written); Portuguese a plus
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated with a positive attitude
  • Ability to prioritize

Product Marketing Manager

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the technical outbound marketing content and activities of our products. You will craft the benefits and messaging for our products, and participate in developing the company's messaging and positioning. You'll conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. In your role as a Product Marketing Manager you will be the expert in buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel.

You are expected to become a technology and product evangelist - you will be engaged in, initiate and often lead Analyst, Public and social media campaigns, as well as other online technology and product-related marketing activities to increase Ericom's exposure and customer base.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market
  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of our products
  • Product launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Market intelligence – be the expert on our buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to crush them or learn from them, or both
  • Demand generation – develop the strategy and create marketing programs that drive demand for our products
  • Assist Management and other employees with event participation registration, coordination and execution
  • Provide insight, suggestions and requests to corporate marketing
  • Participate in Channel Marketing activities related to product marketing

Experience and Capabilities:
  • Experience as a high-impact evangelist for a successful hi-tech / software company
  • 5+ years of software product marketing manager experience, 3+ social and online marketing, IT or R&D experience in a Terminal Services / Citrix / VMware environment – a major plus
  • Excellent verbal presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of establishing credibility with key analysts, editors, bloggers, customers, prospects and business partners
  • Experience in developing effective and creative non-conventional product marketing collateral
  • Ability to travel, up to 20%
  • A deep understanding of the enterprise information technology software market
  • BA or BS degree and/or equivalent experience required
  • Formal education in computer science or similar technological background (software industry – a big plus).
  • English – Mother tongue level
